QRSensors are printed and affixed to packages, enabling GeoLocation tracking and logistics events to be aggregated using a smart phone without the need to install an App, using a patent-pending solution.
The QRSensor Tracking App enhances the QRSensor solution allowing a smart phone to connect to and track a printed QRSensor with continuous GPS updates. This is useful for scenarios where couriers or drivers are moving goods and remain co-located with that QRSensor for a period of time.
There are scenarios, however, where no printed QRSensor exists, but there remains the need to track the geolocation of packages as a courier or driver is moving them. In those cases a mobile Web URL can be generated by a registered QRSensor account holder which, when clicked, activates a predefined QRSensor, and tracks the GPS location of a package.
The QRSensor Tracker App enables both of these approaches and does so without the need of the courier or driver to hold an account on the QRSensor service. The GPS tracking data is provided in a way that preserves the anonymity of the user operating the App.
