About Charité CoronaBoXX

CoronaBoXX is a mobile application that supports healthcare professionals track the progression of COVID-19 in patients who are currently quarantined. With the inability to physically evaluate these patients, information about the patient’s condition can be collected and transmitted to research and treating physicians.

After completing the app set-up and consent, patients can provide demographic information on their disease in three different questionnaires, indicating epidemiological factors, previous illnesses, and possible risk factors.

The patient also has the option to record their state of health daily by completing a comprehensive symptom diary. This data can be easily evaluated by medical staff.

In addition, the App offers hygiene checklists recommended by the Robert Koch Institute.

Any information the patient provides can be found on their personal patient record. The patient can access complete information about the data stored by him or her. This includes all measurements, the specified master data, ICD-10 diagnoses and other data points, which can also be exported and shared by the patient as PDF or XML files.
