About Tastings
Tastings is a robust execution tool that provides talent with all the information they need before, during and after a sampling event. Talent captures demographic, competitor, sampling and conversion data which is verified by store managers. Uploaded to the Tastings web portal, this information becomes actionable data brand managers can use to optimize future events.
Tastings is part of the Overproof product suite – the first and only AI-driven business intelligence and strategic planning platform for the beverage alcohol industry.

Works well for some things
I am an ambassador, and keeping track of many variables while talking to customers and pouring samples can potentially be a challenge (ie multiple brands/flavors at once, gender, age, and which products they try). The app will keep track of many variables accurately, but the way it is currently set up also makes it impossible to remain professional by not looking at/using my phone while engaged with my tasters. I simply will not do that and I hope that others agree that it can be perceived as being rude. Once I have a short lull in customers, I go to my phone and need to input all the info on customers who have just tasted. However, and this is the huge problem that makes this app a fail for me, the app will not allow me to see the information I have input already. It has only two variables given of customers I have already put in the app. It says how many customers and how many bottles sold; that’s all. Nothing that tells me which products were tasted by how many people and nothing to say which products were sold. If I am going back and forth between engaging with customers and inputting data, I must be able to see where I left off and this app won’t give me any information to ensure that my numbers are accurate. Any improvement in being able to see history would help…how many of each brand have sold so far (very basic info), how many customers have tasted each flavor/brand. That’s the minimum info needed to ensure that the data for which our brands have paid good money are accurate.

Easily presentable data
Tracking the progress of brand ambassadors is extremely difficult. This application relieves all the stress and organizational efforts required to run simple sampling events
