Great Visualization of Global Warming & City Planning for Coastal Protection

Wish I had something like this when I was in school! Fantastic drone shots and visualizations of various coastal areas showing what huge damage would result from only a 2.4 ft rise in sea level. I think this app hits a home run in what it sets out to do and definitely renews my sense of urgency in fighting global warming. The unique thing about this app is showing some solutions that city planners are doing to protect cities, which gave me some hope and was very interesting to see. The narration is helpful and educational but I would say the one thing I didn’t understand completely was how building a seawall in the last example helps if they have to sacrifice their beach. This made me curious enough to do more research on the subject, which is something any good education app should do. Also this is probably outside the scope of the app, but I always want to know the latest and most effective ways to lower my carbon footprint like in end credits of “An Inconvenient Truth” so perhaps a link to a good resource or a list of activities could also be a helpful addition to a future app update or to the developer’s website.
