Smart handWash is a unique sound classification algorithm to help track and monitor the handwashing process. An efficient hand wash takes 20 seconds to disinfect all the germs and bacteria from the hands, to achieve that, we developed this app that listens to the tap water running sound and starts counting those 20 seconds from the beginning of the water flow, it also demonstrates the proper handwashing steps through a video on the screen.
We are using sound classification algorithms to detect and analyze the sound of tap water and once the sound detected the app will update the following items on the app:
1) Play/Pause the video automatically base don sounds detection
2) Fill in virtual tank water showing levels of the water been consumed
3) Count down 20 seconds with a loading bar
All the above features are using unique sound classifications algorithms
