About Cubiio2
Cubiio team made complicate laser machine much easier to use since 2017. This year in 2020, we introduced Cubiio2 to give customers one more GREAT option of desk top laser-based wood cuter and metal engraver.
This App is the controller of your Cubiio2 and organize your laser projects.
There is even an editor that you can create projects from scratch!
Here are the main features:
1. Well-designed UI that help you to organize your projects.
2. An easy to use editor that contains useful tools such as create shapes, hand drawing, insert text, import photos, and load g-code files that you created with your favorite tools.
3. Use layers to maintain files and assign different working parameters to each file, speed and power for example.
4. A previewer that help to align graphs and the real materials in your Cubiio2.
5. Transfer files to your Cubiio2 and start to laser!

Some fun projects so far
I’ve made some fun projects so far using this app along with my Cubiio 2. My favorite material so far is beechwood. It’s easy to cut and pretty cheap. The feature that lets you take a picture to use as reference for placing vector drawings or text is very useful. It’s best with thin materials. It does not work well when the material has some thickness to it. You can get used to it, but it takes a lot of thought. Something I would like to see is better support for manipulating objects across tasks. Projects are broken up across tasks, I’d like to combine tasks or break task up.

App doesn’t work
When trying to connect to my Cubiio2, the app will join the Cubiio network, but then has no way whatsoever to update the network configuration to join the real wifi network. WPS is totally insecure, and my professional-grade router does NOT support WPS, so that’s also a non-starter. Not very happy right now.
