Policy Kitchen (policykitchen.com) is a crowdsourcing methodology developed by foraus – Swiss Forum on Foreign Policy. It enables a diverse network of thinkers to co-create policy recipes for pressing global policy challenges, such as biodiversity loss, artificial intelligence, migration or growing inequalities. The method is built on a crowd innovation platform, workshops, and a support process to bring the best recipes to impact. The potential of collective intelligence is used to develop constructive and creative solutions beyond the established policy making mechanism: Policy Kitchen connects citizens, experts and organizations in a participatory policy making process. The resulting policy recommendations are discussed with decision makers and other stakeholders to generate impact. This is an important step to strengthen democratic participation in international policy making. To achieve this, Policy Kitchen has partnered with numerous actors, such as AI Commons, Berkman Klein Center (Harvard), Bosch Alumni Network, International Telecommunications Union (ITU), Microsoft, Open Think Tank Network, Swiss Federal Office for the Environment, swissnex, and more.
Join our exciting community of over 1000 policy innovators from across the globe!
