TAMMIRA® is on a mission to bring trust and transparency back into the wellness and education space, one connection at a time.

Wellness Program

Our Wellness program offers youth aged 10-22 a space to navigate the challenges of online wellness and education (mis)information.

Using evidence-based practices, our Nurse Personalizers provide a fun, safe, welcoming environment for education, entertainment, questions, and support without judgment. This builds self-advocacy, communication, social media literacy, and decision-making skills among our youth Learners. Our methods are designed to increase quality of life, self-esteem, and resilience, thereby improving the mental health of our youth Learners.

Nurse Personalizers educate and connect with youth Learners about mental health, wellness, and education helping them feel heard and seen while providing support and positivity. By partnering with medical professionals and engaging in monitored collective wisdom circles with peers, TAMMIRA offers a platform for asking questions about changing bodies and minds. Accurate, evidence-based, age-appropriate information is readily available to youth through TAMMIRA.

TAMMIRA Learners can:
• Express themselves in fun and creative ways that reflect who they are
• Participate in fun, non-stigmatizing conversations about wellness and education
• Interact with peers and diverse, trusted Nurse Personalizers who bring lived experience
• Trained Buddies help introduce youth to the app and find appropriate programming
• Engage with evidence-based and trauma-informed programming designed to improve behavioral health, and physical health
• Learn and practice coping and prosocial behaviors
• Ask questions via text or audio livestreaming and receive reliable, real-time feedback from Nurse Personalizers
• Join a monitored youth community to connect with peers who share common interests and diverse backgrounds (intersectionalities like race, gender, and ability).
• Encourage youth to build connections and alliances across different social identities who share similar interests while being open-minded to different perspectives, minimizing loneliness and isolation

TAMMIRA Nurse Personalizers can:
• Engage with youth about improving prosocial behaviours and building healthy relationships with their families and peers
• Create a mutual healing environment for themselves and the youth Learners
• Receive hands-on online training opportunities and workforce skill development
• Make a positive social impact that is intrinsically rewarding and promotes positive reciprocity among all participants

Care Network

The Care Network is a safe, inclusive platform where nonprofit and community-based youth councils and adolescents can connect, share their wellness journeys, and support one another in meaningful ways.

In the TAMMIRA Care Network, Learners can:

• Connect with like-minded people for everyday inspiration
• Receive personalized recommendations, based on unique traits and goals
• Attend free, livestreamed events
• Where offered by the nonprofit or community-based organization: book private virtual sessions with wellness and education Personalizers
• Where offered by the nonprofit or community-based organization: get instant help from on-demand Personalizers ready to chat with you

TAMMIRA Personalizers — chosen and approved by our nonprofit partners and community-based organizations — can:

• Create profiles to showcase their unique skills and attract new Learners
• Set their own availability
• Host free, app-wide events to expand their reach
• Share their best-kept wellness and education secrets
• In some cases, accept donations through the nonprofit they work with
