The primary function of the NDBCI is to act as an assisting agency, responding to and providing assistance to local law enforcement agencies and other state agencies within the State of North Dakota. Jurisdiction of the NDBCI is limited to the geographical boundaries of North Dakota. The NDBCI may also assist other out-of-state agencies. The organization of the NDBCI will support the effective accomplishment of departmental responsibilities and functions.
