"ParkSmart Basel" is the official parking app of the city of Basel. It not only allows you to pay parking fees at parking meters, but also to purchase visitor parking permits for the Blue Zone.

Parking meters:
Select your parking meter via app and conveniently pay the parking fee by the minute using your smartphone. If you are back early, simply stop your parking process. This way, you will only be charged for the effective parking time.

Blue Zone:
Would you like to park in a Blue Zone? Simply buy a visitor parking permit via app for the whole or only half day. ParkSmart Basel also helps you to set the parking disc.

Registration is simple: all you need is your license plate and a means of payment - and you're ready to park.

The following means of payment are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Postfinance and TWINT.
