Cattle Manager Go enables a beef farmer to view animal records and enter actions and births whilst out on farm and is used in conjunction with Farmplan’s Cattle Manager program.
Cattle records appear in CM Go when it is synchronised with Cattle Manager.
Animal details can be viewed including general details e.g. official tag, management tag, name, date of birth, category, age, breed, location. A history tab displays movements and categories changes that have occurred during the animal’s lifetime in the current ownership. Full next of kin details are shown where known, i.e. Birth Dam, Genetic Dam, Foster Dam and Sire along with any progeny records. Treatment and Health details allow the user to view all medical history records.
Births can be entered against qualifying dams to create a new calf record.
Various diary entries can be recorded against each animal e.g. adding notes, recording medical treatments, weights, allocating animals to batches and movements.
New animal records and diary entries are synchronised back to the Cattle Manager program.
CM Go requires an internet connection to synchronise with the Cattle Manager program but can work offline by caching the data. This means that the App can be used whilst out on the farm, even if there is no internet connection.
CM Go is a free App that works alongside the Farmplan Cattle Manager program which is the UK’s most popular cattle management solution. You simply need to log in with credentials that are entered in the main program.
