ContactEd does one thing and does it well: Finds and deletes duplicate contacts on your contact list.

ContactEd looks for duplicate contact names, chooses the one with more contact information and puts them on a list that you can edit before deleting.

ContactEd does not upload any of your contacts. Everything runs on device!
