Picpecc is an app for kids undergoing treatment for cancer. The project is financed by Barncancerfonden, Vinnova, STINT, Forte, Vetenskapsrådet, Västra Götalandsregionen, GPCC and dimh AB.
In the app the user can do assessments, these assessments are then sent to the hospital staff and researchers involved in the specific user's case. This can enable the staff to better balance the treatment for the kid. In the app, the user gets an avatar that is used to relate the questions in the assessment to the user. By answering assessments the user will unlock animals as a reward.
