Not what I thought
This is a passable calligraphy practice app. However, from the first Preview video, what I thought I was getting was an app that showed you how each character is to be written with a brush pen, specifically the entry and exit of each stroke with the brush tip, in order to generate the characteristic shapes and contours of classic Chinese calligraphy. If there as an app that did that, and with a modern user interface, I would pay $10-20, depending on how complete the character library.

UI/Ux needs urgent improvement
I really like that you can see many different writing styles of a certain kanji, there's decent brushes to play with and different guides, but the interface ultimately makes it unbearable to use. - The brush and kanji settings cover and obscure each other, at least on ipad. - You have to click the same button a bunch of times to cycle through some of the options / make certain settings appear, totally breaks the flow. - No double tap undo. Only a clear all button. If the UI is fixed it would be useful.
