Closed traffic patterns are scored based on the accuracy of altitude, track, and airspeed. Legs are scored on runway centerline accuracy (upwind & final) or respective 90 degree differences (crosswind, downwind, base). A crosswind bonus takes the additional challenge of a crosswind into consideration. True airspeed is calculated and used to score accuracy of speeds during Climb > 300 ft AGL, Base Leg, and Final Leg. Altitude is scored on accuracy of maintaining TPA at cruise and the start of the crosswind turn.
Seven levels allow you to pick your tolerances and push yourself to continually improve as you approach perfection. All speeds and altitudes are customizable. Live ATIS-based winds are automatically pulled to accurately calculate true airspeed.
The logbook feature stores all historical patterns so you can track your improvement over time.
