Was free for base functions, no longer so
When I started using the app in 2024 it would allow me to store and display all my barcodes without paying. Paying removed ads and unlocked additional features. But now they've locked up some of my barcodes behind their subscription. Classic strategy of getting users adjusted and then attempting to monetize what they've grown accustomed to using. This strategy of easy entry followed by lock-out/lock-in belongs in the bin, followed shortly by the app itself.
