The Worst

I bought the amp about two years ago through recommendations in social media. They have never updated this horrible app with its horrible layout- did a 1st grader make this and non functional pieces. It really doesn’t do Apple Music- I had to buy another device to accomplish Apple Music. Don’t buy the Amp- nothing special and the App alone is almost worthless.

Unreliable

For the first ten months it connected and was stable. Now it fails to connect or connects at first and then soon disconnects. I noticed this when the version number changed. The company, of course, operates on the assumption that the app can’t be the problem and puts your WiFi network under suspicion, even though all other devices connected to it are working reliably. I bought this thousand dollar receiver mainly for high resolution streaming, but since Outlaw’s app is so unreliable, buying a streamer is necessary. I should have just bought a streamer/dac and connected it to my older preamp and power amp. I wanted to simplify this second system, but simple isn’t simple if it doesn’t work. Anyone in the market for an Outlaw 2160 II?
