Use to work now the app won’t connect

Every time I try to fly now the app says it doesn’t exist and this being the new app it won’t connect. I am left with a good drone but no way to fly it. I suppose I will buy a DJI eventually.

App needs a lot of work and better features

Unfortunately, the app doesn’t do what EXO promises on their website marketing. As an example, EXO says the drone can do a surround video, where you drop a pin in the app and the drone will circle around that point of interest. Sadly, this “surround” feature in the app makes the drone rotate on its horizontal axis - essentially the same if you rotate the drone manually in either direction. Wow.. I feel as if EXO and the developers - who aren’t part of the same company from what I can tell, don’t agree on what the app does. EXO says it can do lots of amazing things, yet the app itself does nothing close to what EXO advertises. Sadly, if you own an EXO Ranger drone, you’re stuck with this piece of crap app. Hopefully the developer updates it so the app and drone truly compete with the DJI mini, or some other developer (hey, maybe someone in house can develop an app that delivers on what EXO advertises!!). It’s a great drone handicapped by a terrible app.
