Child Medication Tracker - a helpful utility that gives you a reliable record of when you give your child Paracetamol & Ibuprofen medication.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It can be complicated keeping track of medication doses for your children or others in your family, but this app takes all the guess work away and gives you clear concise information of who was given a dose of medication and the time it was given.
The app tells you how long until the next dose and how many doses left within the 24 hour medication window.
Keep your child safe with this handy Medication tracker.
No more double-dosing or missing a dose especially when you have multiple children to look after!
Keep track of the number of doses you have given within a 24 hour period of when the first dose was administered.
• Timestamp and Datestamp when each dose is given.
• Choose a countdown timer between 4 to 8 hours per child, per medication doses.
• Record doses of up to 4 children's medication at the same time.
• View all the children's timers on one page in an overview area per medication.
• Know when each child is due their medication dose with Notifications.
• Notifications !
Enable or disable notifications for Each child.
• The app will tell you when the timer has finished even when the app is fully closed or in the background!
• A 24 Hour timer will be set upon the start of Dose 1 to let you know it's still safe or unsafe to administer another dose, such as after a night's sleep, or missed doses. A text label above the timer will inform you if there is still a '24 hour time frame' in progress and the app will inform you that doses cannot be given if reached a Max Dose within this time frame. A Notification will also be set to your device to inform you that the 24 hour time frame is finished for each specific child. (Please make sure you have Notifications turned on in iPhone Settings - Notifications - Child Meds for this to work).
• Record Temperature:
You can record the child's temperature at the point of administering the medication.
A popup prompt will ask you each time you press the 'Start timing' button in the app.
• No temperature reading at this time? ... Just tap on the temperature box to enter manually, this will also add details to the Log.
• The temperature label will give a colour coding depending on the entered temperature -- Green, Orange and Red indicating on severity of the temperature.
• Dose History Log:
Historical Log of child's name and doses given on dates and times will be saved on your device to review at a later date.
When entering a temperature manually, this will also be indicated as such with a time and date stamp to let you know when it was entered.
Just for children? - Why not use it for yourself or other adults too!
