About David Pawson Bible Teaching
A speaker and author with uncompromising faithfulness to the scriptures, David brings clarity and a message of urgency to Christians looking to uncover the hidden treasures in God’s Word.
David Pawson was born in 1930, His father was a Methodist minister and Professor of Agriculture at Durham University. Following in his fathers footsteps he began his career with a degree in Agriculture at Durham University, England. With a newly acquired farm in Scotland, he was surprised when God intervened and led him firstly to become a Methodist Minister and then a Baptist Pastor before taking up the calling to become a prominent International Bible teacher. He authored more than eighty books which have been translated into many languages. At the age of 90, David continued to teach and write books, until the end of his days on earth in 2020
In Unlocking the Bible, Pawson presents a book by book study of the whole Bible. Each talk is based on his belief that the Bible should be studied, as it was written, a book at a time, certainly not a verse, or even a chapter at a time, which can often be taken out of context; and that each book is best understood by discovering the reason 'why', and for 'whom' the book was written. In this series of talks David set out the background, purpose, meaning and relevance of each book of the Bible.
This is a collection of all his talks where David gives us the 'keys' to unlock the Bible for ourselves, book by book, both Old and New Testaments. By watching the complete series, you will have a complete journey in in understanding the whole Bible, from creation to the cross and from the resurrection to end times and Jesus return, you will learn so much that will benefit your whole life.

Best Bible teacher ever
I’ve listened to many Bible teachers over 32 years and Mr. Pawson is by far the one who brought the Word to life for me. Only 8 years ago, I finally read the Bible from beginning to end and listened to his videos and read his books and topical leaflets. I learned history and geography (both I typically don’t enjoy), ancient customs, language, and so many other things that were incredibly interesting. He gives you the answers to questions you didn’t even know you had. I also read “The Daily Bible” by Mr. Pawson’s friend, F. Lagard Smith which has no chapters and verses and is in chronological order. It’s easier to read because it’s like a normal book. Mr. Pawson may have passed into eternal rest but he left a legacy of solid teaching for the rest of us!

Digging for Gold Nuggets of Biblical Knowldge
Dr. Pawson was so full of Biblical knowledge and experiences way before the internet was at arm´s length. This means he physically experienced and read what he taught. His evolution on doctrinal matters is intriguing because he takes the spiritual journey with the Scriptures - an honest journey. When he encountered Scriptures that did not agree with his theology he did not attempt gymnastics but changed his theology to fit the Scriptures. For example, the Baptist doctrines (Calvinist doctrines) of Once saved always saved and water baptism were held dearly by Dr. Pawson but the overwhelming scriptural evidences forced him to reconsider his theology. I appreciate his scholarly honesty.
