Welcome to Abingdon High. It’s the Fall of your sophomore year and a week before homecoming, and you’re about to become a part of this story.
You and your friends generally enjoy going to school, socializing, working and participating in extracurricular activities. This semester your grades are a bit shaky and you are trying to keep up with school and work. You are living on the military base near school with your dad, but your mom is currently deployed. Your friends are in the midst of starting and ending relationships, and big events like an end-of-season football game, pep rally, and homecoming dance are on the way.
You have a lot of big decisions to make this week. Sometimes the answers won’t seem so clearcut, but your choices will affect you and your friends. What will you prioritize? Which friends will you help? Will you do everything your dad wants you to do? As you read, you’ll be asked to make decisions. Decision-making tools will be available to help you. You’ll also get to play games. As the week progresses the tensions rise, your decisions will matter more. What will you choose to do?
