About Roveapp: AI Camera

Add effects to your photos, automatically tag them with advanced AI and store them in a graph-like database.

Why choose Rove?
Besides being able to magically add effects to your images with AI, manually tagging media is tedious, and previous tagging technology has been underwhelming. However, with recent cutting-edge technologies, results significantly improve when multiple solutions are combined like image recognition, face recognition, text extraction and AI to interpret all the data.

Rove allows you to take images, and we'll automatically tag your media by extracting the most important keywords, this will allow you to search and discover them like never before.
For example this works extremely well when taking screenshots of social media.

Features included in the app subscription:

- Rove uses Artificial Intelligence to automatically tag your media, recognize text, and the context of images.
- Rove summarizes long text in documents extracting only what's most important in the form of keywords.
- Invite family and friends to your "albums", share only the media you want, like each other's photos, and receive notifications when someone adds, likes, or deletes media.

Fails on multiple counts

I’ve tried this application for several months now hoping that it could provide a solution to organizing approximately 42000 photos in an efficient and accessible way. It has failed on both counts. Not only after several months of use has it failed to upload anywhere near all the photos but the approximately 20000 that have been uploaded are inaccessible due to the constant pending operations notice which at first would go away after several attempts to call up the node and edges screen. So, essentially, the photos that are uploaded, are no longer viewable, and the rate of successful uploads and classification is such that it may never complete. I have notified the developers of the pending operations notice and not received any response and since there has also been no fix made in an update it is a waste of time and money to continue the grindingly slow upload in hopes that something miraculous will occur upon completion. It would be fantastic to see a developer present a true directed graph database for this purpose with enough server resources to handle to upload and content classification and the retrieval/query process as well. Perhaps someone will make the attempt with neo4j or similar semantic database and adequate computing resources for the job. As for now, I will hope that Apple’s photo library with tag support coupled with Apple Intelligence integration will make the query and self-classification provide something approaching the semantic/directed graph database capabilities. I cannot recommend this product for more than a couple of thousand photos and even then not if the content should be expected to grow.

Content creator’s problems solved!!! Finally 🙌🏻

I have +90,000 photos on my phone which are completely disorganized! Rove solved that problem by letting me organize them like I would in my brain! I now have folders for my personal stuff, home decor which has inner folders (nodes) inside separating the decor style. The same for fashion, blogs, cooking, etc!!! It’s a content creator’s dream! Thank you Rove for creating something I needed 🤍
