“Year Of The Ox” is a multimedia artwork by London based artist, Gordon Cheung. It is first conceived as an augmented reality based site-specific public art installation at A. Wong Restaurant in celebration of Chinese New Year 2021. Each element of the animated mural symbolises Chinese New Year, spreading good health and prosperity and celebrating new beginnings through a medium that embraces tradition, innovation and unity in multicultural London.
