What is Smart Healing?

Smart Healing is iChakras unique way of bringing science and spiritual wellness together in the perfect blend, programing your Mind, Body and Spirit to your desired state of mind. The SH band will track your brainwaves during any activity that you select (such as meditation) and will automatically sync up with your healing needs. whether you are distracted or in complete zen, the SH app will fluctuate between two different healing audio files always giving you what you need. Instead of worrying about always being in the “RIGHT” state of mind, the healing will move with YOU, moving between musical binaural beats, and positive guided meditation. Once your mind is in the desired state (Relaxed, Focused, Sleep, etc..) the healing music will become louder allowing you to fully absorb it, if you are in a more active state of mind then the app will adjust to you, giving you a soft guided meditation/affirmation.

What is Binaural Beats?

The music that plays while you are in your desired state of mind has a specific frequency that syncs up to your brainwaves and tells your mind, body and spirit what to do. Focus, Relax, Sleep, etc…
You listen to binaural beats using headphones. In each ear, you receive sound at a slightly different frequency (often accompanied by some relaxing background sounds).

Scientists and clinicians use brainwaves to measure and understand the functioning of the brain. We typically can’t see them, but human brains have billions of neurons. These individual neurons connect to thousands of other neurons. And when brain activity happens, these neurons light up much the same way thousands of audience members do “the wave” in an arena.
This synchronized electrical current is strong enough that scientists are able to detect it by using electro-encephalography, or EEG.
Brain waves are measured in cycles per second, known as Hertz or Hz for short. When the number of Hz is lower, that means that the brain activity happening is slower.
When they first started to identify different types of brainwaves in the 1930s and 1940s, they found 4 types:
1. Alpha waves (8-13 hz) occur when we’re in a relaxed and calm state.
2. Beta waves (13-38 hz) occur when we are actively thinking or problem-solving.
3. Delta waves (below 4 hz) occur during our sleep cycle.
4. Theta waves (4-7 hz) occur during the sleep cycle as well and are associated with deep relaxation and visualization.
Now, scientists have added more common brain waves to the list, but one that is most important to personal actualization is:
* Gamma brain waves (39-100 hz) occur during higher mental activity and consolidation of information
