Hex is the resource gathering game set in Ukraine in XVI-XVII centuries. You have to expand your lands by capturing hexes. Each captured hex gives you some resources that are used to capture another hexes. In this way you build up your settlement stock in order to start capturing enemy hexes.
The game is open-ended. You can capture thousands of hexes and build your own small hex empire!
The enemy hexes (walls and towers) will come on your way. You need cossacks, cannons, boats and carts in order to destroy enemy clusters.
The game provides different game modes: Classic, Easy and Expansion.
Classic
This mode has small amount of enemy hexes and enough resources to keep capturing more and more hexes.
Easy
This mode has no enemies and can be used as a relaxing game.
Expansion
This mode contains much more wall levels, enemy fortress clusters. You will have to fight your way through the enemy levels in order to get access to more resources.
