Annoyed with price change.
Been using buff for a year now. I felt the premium of $70 was worth it. I grind valorant so I got $285 worth of gift cards over the year. That was 57 gift cards. I just renewed my subscription about 2 weeks ago and have gotten a few gift cards since. Well I log in today, 1/14/26 and premium give card price went up…it was 600 for a $5 gift card, now it’s 950. Staff says, “just a price increase nothing to be done about it.” Dude for every 2 gift cards now it’s costing an extra 700 credits. So I should have 3 gift cards. Based on my numbers from last year, I’ll spend an extra 20,650 credits for less gift cards. So not it’s not worth it anymore. Also it didn’t increase for the free users. It’s still 1200 credits for the $5. Yall seriously ruined the necessities of buying premium. The challenges and the rate of getting points hasn’t increased . So it will be impossible for me to reach the same amount of gift cards. In reality, I’ll get around $180 worth of gift cards and I paid $70 for the service. So $110 in profit for a year of gaming valorant….. I might as well just buy the damn gun skins with riot. Definitely getting a refund.
