Can’t Connect
Venom won’t connect to the app. Especially annoying because the control board on the Venom doesn’t have a pause button. If I need to have the lid open for a while to season, glaze, etc, the fan goes full speed and the coals get too hot and when the lid goes back on, the temp is much higher than I want it to be. Only solution is to turn it off and turn it back on when the lid is back on. Love the Venom but the connectivity is pretty bad. You should have made a Bluetooth option so I can connect directly to my phone and not have to relay to my WiFi to the app.

App keeps Venom from being great
The venom works well, holds the temp pretty dang close and has made long cooks enjoyable. The app for the Venom is so bad unfortunately, that I wouldn’t recommend the Venom to anyone. For what it costs, just save up and by a gravity fed smoker with Bluetooth.
