Loved until they stopped updating library
I’ve been using this app for over a year now, and have loved it until recently. If there wasn’t a book in their library, you could email them and they’d add it really quick. Well, it’s been MONTHS since they’ve added any of my book requests. I’ve read like 18 books this year and maybe 10 of those were in their library. I’ve emailed over and over with no replies at all (& there doesn’t seem to be any other way to get in touch…so hoping they see my review…). I’m so frustrated, I may have to make the switch to another app. :(

Not there yet.
I’ve anticipated Copper long before it officially released. My hope was that it would become the new Goodreads (which we hate to love and love to hate, just like Amazon). It has a long way to go before it’s reached its full potential. Here are my current grievances: 1. The genre groupings are incomplete and don’t make sense. Why is Fiction grouped with Historical Fiction? Why is Romance separate? I would like to see genre and sub-genre groupings. 2. The genre button links don’t lead to their respective genre. For example, when I tap on the the Romance link, it opens up Betterment. Fiction & Historical Fiction opens up Mystery, etc. 3. The library is incomplete, especially when it comes to sci-fi and fantasy. There are duplicates as well. There needs to be a better way to consolidate the catalogue. 4. Speaking of catalogue, requesting to add more books is awkward and time consuming. 5. This is a minor one, but since I don’t use this app as much as I want to, the app will log me out occasionally for no reason. I enjoy the interface, the ability to have discussions, and the ease of use (mostly), but the last update was 9 months ago. This app has a long way to go before it gets to where it needs to be.
