WHY BOXORGANIZER?
Everybody knows it: You’ve just moved, everything is packed and suddenly you need something very specific. No matter if it is your grandma’s old vase, your favourite book, or your running shoes. They are probably all in one of the many boxes and you don’t know which.
That’s where BoxOrganizer comes in handy. With the app, you can easily add your boxes to a project and start scanning all of your valuable items. Now, when you need something, just search for it and the app tells you, where you’ve put it. That’s how easy it can be.
And the best part is: It doesn’t end there! BoxOrganizer can also help you keep track of your DVD or book collection, your wine-drawer and many more. You decide, for what and where you want to use it.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
① Create a new project
② Add your boxes to the project
③ Print your Box-Codes (network-printer required) and stick them on the right boxes
④ Now start adding items by either using the scanner or manually in the respective box
⑤ Create Tags and add them to your items to find them even faster
⑥ Put the item into its real-life box and let us keep track of it
To print Box-Codes, just long-press on one of the boxes, select all the ones you need a Code for and press the printer-symbol.
WHAT ARE BOX- / ITEM-CODES?
With Box-Codes you can easily check the content of a box by simply scanning the code and the app tells you what is inside.
Item-Codes work similar and help you to open an item even faster in order to modify it or look at its information.
The codes are available in following sizes:
‣ Single (1 Code per page)
‣ Grid (4-9 Codes per page)
‣ Row (3-6 Codes per page)
CAN I STILL USE BOXORGANIZER WITHOUT A NETWORK-PRINTER?
Yes, of course! Even-though, you are not able to print Box- or Item-Codes, you can still use BoxOrganizer for your projects. Instead of printing individual Codes, you can just name your boxes individually and write the respective name with a bold marker on them. Now you can search for the box’s name and the app tells you what you’ve put inside. The same applies for Items.
WHAT ARE TAGS USED FOR?
Tags help you to find multiple items which belong to the same category. Take for example different genres of books (e.g. drama, science, thriller etc.). You want to read a book of one of these genres, but you don’t know which? If you have added appropriate Tags to your books, you can just search for your respective category and the app tells you which books might be fitting and where they are stored. You can apply the same principle also for your wine drawer and your DVD collection. There are no limits!
