Splendid - Useful
The app is what it says it is, and it does it quite well. There are a few grammatical issues but nothing gets lost in translation. While the app does teach you html, the examples are broken. The other apps (Kotlin Tutorial app referenced here) have the output view showing how it will look, but the html output windows aren’t working. The next issue is that the Programs and Syntax tab does not scale properly, so clicking to view the example is weird. The button text is to large and the examples are cut off. Other than those the last issue is start up time. I’m pretty sure the app is making an external connection because of the start up time. While connected to a network it can take up to 2 minutes to start up, but with Airplane Mode the app loads instantly. I’m not worried about this but you can use a network debugger to check the traffic. Other than those 3 things the app is quite useful. It is helping me grasp the concepts that I learned years ago, and I hope to finish this and continue through their other apps. Something I would like to see is open source from these, as I’m also looking to learn app development soon. Anyways, thanks for the app.
