About CoS Click-2-Fix
The City has created an app you can download to report problems such as potholes, broken sidewalks, tree limbs down, parking meters, and many more. City departments receiving the submissions include: Public Works, Parks & Rec, Utilities, Risk Management, Homeless, Parking, and Code Compliance. Users can also add photos and the physical location of the issue to assist staff.
The app forwards your submission to the appropriate departments where, during normal working hours, they will take care of the requests. Users will receive email updates and/or can return to the site to check the status of submitted issues. When the issue is resolved, it will be closed.

Good App, Got Sidewalk Fixed in 1 Day! Some Bugs Need to be fixed with Photo Upload Form
I just found out about this app, and reported a fairly dangerous ADA/safety sidewalk hazard using the app. The next morning a crew from City Public Works showed up to fix it. So the app facilitated my goal. Thank you, City of Sarasota! However, there are a few bugs/upgrades needed to be fixed. The app directions said I could ‘upload a photo’ but didn’t actually allow me to upload a photo. It only let me take a Live Photo with my camera. But I wasn’t at the sidewalk location anymore, so I airdropped the photo to my computer, and took a Live Photo of my computer screen — which worked fine. (But most people probably either wouldn’t think or care to do those extra steps…and just not report it…which I would have done if this wasn’t a sidewalk I walk by a few times every day.) So that’s a bug that should be fixed. And they should also allow at least 2 photos (for different angles/perspectives), instead of just 1 sole photo. This is a good app and now that I know about it, I look forward to using it again when needed.

It's been frustrating before this. Thank you. Particularly the crossing signals... needed this.
