Lochmaddy Hotel was established in 1863, and is the oldest hotel in North Uist . We have a rich history, and people from all over the world have come to stay with us in the last 150+ years. We are a relaxed family run hotel with the owners John And Lorna on duty every day.
Our kitchen team is run by Chef Tom and Pastry chef/kitchen manager Eildih. Tom has been using local produce for the last twenty years - a vastly experienced chef with a passion for good wholesome food. Eilidh is an absolute magician with anything sweet - often creating unique home made desserts, baking and chocolates.
