You can purchase "Shadowmap Home" and "Shadowmap Studio" as monthly or yearly subscription. You can subscribe and pay through your iTunes account. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renew after purchase by going to the ‘Manage Subscription’ page in settings. Pretty bad app
The map itself is like a 2bit map making it completely blurry and unusable. The ui is clunky and outdated. Half the screen is the controls that you cannot collapse. There is always and upgrade button that never goes away even though I already upgraded and could not care less about the real estate features. Seems like this app was made in 2015 then never updated.

I should’ve looked at that 3.1 rating. This app is worthless. Someone else noted, it doesn’t have ground objects like trees. And also completely misrepresents the shadow cast by buildings. to suggest that it could be used for solar planning is a complete fallacy.

Really buggy app
1. When I search for a location, it doesn’t move to that 2. Can’t play 24h simulation 3. When I try to switch to high Res mod, it crashes Basically unusable.

Not useful for Gardening
I signed up for the 7 day free trial for the Pro version. The feature I wanted to try before purchasing was not available. I’m a gardener planning raised beds at home and community gardens. I need to know the shadows from buildings and trees throughout the growing season. The trial version does not allow me to check the accuracy, therefore I will not be purchasing the Pro or Lite versions. I’ve deleted the application from my device.
