EcoRate

EcoRate's mission is to "Empower people to reduce consumer waste using actionable community-driven data." We achieve this by letting people review and search for cafes based on how eco-friendly they are. This way, you can reduce your own environmental impact all while supporting cafes that are leading the way to sustainable consumption. Specifically, we are targeting consumer-facing waste because this is a large portion of waste produced at cafes, and customers can measure it reliably when they review cafes they go to.
Unlike most rating platforms, we only ask objective questions like what kinds of cups, lids, plates, etc. are used for different kinds of orders. Since we don't ask subjective questions, our reviews are much more reliable and less prone to manipulation.
