“SarNarPar” is a free mobile application designed and developed by the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Myanmar network, the UNICEF, and the ActionAid Myanmar to improve the local INGOs, LNGOs, and CSOs staff including community volunteers’ PSEA knowledge and awareness. This application mainly targets those staff/volunteers who do not have computers to access to Agora Myanmar PSEA learning platform. It is available in English and Burmese languages. Via this mobile app, the targeted staff/local volunteers will have access to:
- PSEA learning: the training curriculum is properly designed with 10 components where Basic concepts of SEA, Sexual misconduct definitions, Power dynamics, and Survival centered approach are mainly highlighted. In each component, simple illustrated pictures, videos, and case studies were used for the community level. At the end of learning, the completion certificate from the PSEA Myanmar network will be issued to each signed-up user.
- Resources: Registration on the mobile application will allow users to have open access to PSEA resources and contents which the PSEA Myanmar network has developed on their mobile phones, from anywhere and at any time.
- Group Chat Feature: It will allow the users of the mobile application i.e. the stakeholders at all levels to share the knowledge they gained from “SarNarPar” application and to discuss about the challenges they (might) have faced in their communities that are related to PSEA issues, safeguarding and reporting mechanism.
- Reporting: This will allow the user to directly report the suspicious SEA case in the community with total confidentiality and anonymity.
