The ultimate psychological warfare?!
Exclusively for two players!
But it's not just any ordinary dice game!
It's ""Liar Bridge!""
Only players skilled enough at lying in order to deceive their opponent can cross the bridge!
■Estimated Play Time
5-10 mins/game
■Rules
They're simple!
Progress by lying about your dice rolls, see through your opponent's lies, and aim to get 3 of your character pieces to the goal.
・Use a 6-sided die without the 5 & 6 (1, 2, 3, 4, blank, blank).
・There are 9 spaces to the goal.
・There are 7 character pieces per player.
1. Press the button to roll the die. Your opponent cannot see your roll.
2. Choose the number of spaces you'd like to advance from 1-4. At this time, you can also lie and advance a different number than what you rolled. If you rolled a blank die, you must lie.
3. If your opponent thinks you chose a number different from your roll, they can press the doubt button.
4. If the doubt is succesful (the number selected is different from the roll), you'll explode and lose a character piece. Your opponent then advances the number of spaces you chose.
5. If the doubt fails (the number selected is the same as the roll), the one who doubted explodes and loses a character piece.
6. If you fall off the bridge or a piece reaches the goal, the game will continue if there are remaining pieces and neither player has met the following victory conditions.
7. If you advance 9 spaces and reach the goal, points will be awarded and you will move a new piece from your next turn. The points given will increase as follows: 1 point for the first goal, 2 points for the second goal, etc.
*If either player loses their last piece and neither has had 3 of their pieces reach the goal at the time of a succeeding or failing doubt, the remaining player will be considered as having scored, even if they have not advanced 9 spaces, and points will be awarded to that player.
・ Win conditions (in order of priority)
1. Get 3 pieces to the goal
2. Have a higher number of points
3. If the points are tied, the player with more pieces remaining wins.
4. If the points and number of remaining pieces are the same, it's a draw.
*If you don't doubt and the game ends, the pass button will be displayed instead of the roll die button.
From just reading the explanation it may seem like the rules are complicated, but don't worry! When you play the game you will see it's very simple and easy-to-understand.
*As a tutorial, we recommend playing the practice mode first.
