Don’t waste your money
First of all the app doesn’t allow a “try before you buy” option. And now I can see why. This over glorified google map app misses the mark in so many ways. 1.) when you set your course and get under way, your position on the map does not automatically move on the map as you progress. You need to constantly move the map to find your location. 2.) In bright sunlight the app randomly adjusts the brightness. It gets stuck on dark and the map is unreadable. It’s not the phone either. Why not just set it to the highest bright setting? Waze and Apple Maps do that. 3.). The legend for the navigation markers tends to be very confusing. There needs to be a lot more work done on this app to refine it. This almost seems like a high school project. For the time being I’m going back to my trusty 2025 Winnipesaukee paper navigation chart. Save $25.00 and get the free the State of NH Lake patrol chart.
