We use a simple method that is customized to your needs
Step 1: Complete the intake. Here we get to know all about you and your goals.
We assess your current activity level
And even take note of the super important details
After we have all we need to know, we create your individualized fuel plan.
Step 2: Start Fueling!
Your fuel plan will let you know exactly what your body needs to meet your specified goal.
Each bubble indicates a single serving of the the fuel group it is listed after. The total bubbles are what you are recommended over the course of a day.
Step 3: Check off your fuel targets as you go about your day. Eating what you want, when you want.
For example: If you want avocado toast and eggs for breakfast… first of all, YUM! Second, break it down to check off your targets.
2 slices of toast
4 tbsp avocado
2 eggs
1 cup of berries not the side
And if you aren’t sure what makes up a serving, our extensive food lists can help you out.
What about desserts and adult beverages? We got you covered! Every fuel plan has 150-250 calories worth of FUN FOOD built in… every day. We believe in eating food, just because it tastes good and without a side of guilt. And the research backs our style, as it shows that people who build in daily flexibility tend to eat healthier over all.
And any time you are eating foods like casseroles, soups, or other combination foods- we keep it simple.
1/2 cup = 3 bubbles of whatever food groups are in your chosen food. Take Mac and cheese for example: 1/2 cup can cover you for 1 starch, 1 protein, and a fat.
And for the trickier foods like pizza and sushi: we have you covered with our comprehensive food lists.
Each fuel plan comes with a long list of pre and post exercise snacks, that are specifically prescribed for exercise.
Once you start tracking your daily intake, we know you can’t make progress unless you are working WITH your body. This means taking time to reconnect and listen to how your body is responding to your fuel plan.
That is why step 4 is… Listen to how your body responds
At the end of each day, take a minute to track your energy level, bowel movements, and we have an option to track your weight and body fluff percentage. ( Please note, this feature may not be recommended based on your Scale Relationship Assessment and can be turned off for those of you who find the scale to be stressful and unhelpful)
Review your reports as you collect data to see all the different health changes following your fuel plan provides! You can also view your total intake, % fuel plan consumed, macronutrient breakdown, energy levels, bowel movements, then compare and contrast these graphs to draw your own conclusions and learn about your body! You can then adjust and modify your next day’s intake based on what you have eaten today.
