Welcome to pricing insanity
Imagine paying for a $228 volt meter that has a Bluetooth connection and then being asked to pay $50 more for the app to detect if a measurement is with a certain range. Ludicrous. The product is good. It replaces devices like a $20 volt meter and somewhat can take measurements like a $15 logic analyzer. But it’s got USBC so I guess that makes up for the extra $200. I’m salty in holding back something that is software locked and not hardware locked on a device that is already on the edge of being worth the premium price. I hate leaving bad reviews on otherwise decent products but $50 for the range module sent me over the edge. If they walk that back I’ll be the first to edit my review.
