Ishq requires prospective members to apply, after which the Ishq team sets up calls with each applicant to learn more about them. This vetting process is unique to our app, and allows us to maintain a very high quality of profiles on the app.
After being accepted into the Ishq community, you'll be free to sign into the app and set up your profile. Here are some unique features that are not found in the stale space of South Asian dating apps:

scam, breach of privacy
i was on the app for a very short time only and soon heard rumors in the desi community that the creators of the app read through the user’s chats and try to influence their decisions of being with someone they’re chatting with in the app since the creator of the app is in the desi community. I became super sus after that and deleted my account. it just seems like a scam…the same people i see on hinge are on the app it isn’t anything different and i definitely don’t want them breaching my private data. the price is also ridiculous in my opinion i think they’re just scamming us and taking our money.

Don’t waste your time or money.
Horrible app, at least on hinge I would get a few likes but this app is not worth the money at all. I went on every day and liked at least 2 profiles per day (they only show you 3/day). I kept seeing people on the west coast, even though I’m on the east coast. You can only set preferences based on age and gender. They place you on a waitlist to join to make it seem exclusive, but trust me, it’s not.
