Not a Fan

This app is useless and doesn’t really work. The premade designs are fine, but you can’t tweak them. If you create your own, and save it, it doesn’t save. Such a complete let down.

Latest update feels like a downgrade

The previous version used to include a larger selection of premade patterns (e.g., sports teams, more holidays), the majority of which are gone with the latest update. The latest update does allow some customization of premade patterns (e.g., speed, bulb spacing) but not the color or tone. This is unfortunate because the white used in the new candy cane pattern is so cool that it looks red and blue instead of white. We’ve created a few custom patterns successfully. But more often than not, the new custom design is somehow applied to other existing custom patterns (undoing the previous work) or turns all lights white and/or crashes the app, disappearing the controller entirely. There is an option to access the old patterns but it is significantly more buggy than before. I’m hopeful the app will improve but in the meantime it is a big disappointment, especially during the holidays when we use our lights most. Very disappointing.
