Paying your toll just got a little easier! You can now use Alabama Freedom Pass ® to pay your toll at any Freedom Pass Network facility. No more fishing for change. No more swiping your credit card. You don’t even have to pull out your current Freedom Pass card – just punch in your location and pay your toll!

You can link your phone with your existing Freedom Pass account or simply bill a major credit card on file (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Using your device just deducts the toll amount from your pre-paid toll funds or charges you on the go. If you’d like, you can even have a receipt emailed to you after each trip. Instant balance information is also available for existing Freedom Pass account holders.

Can be a bit finicky

If you can get your payment entered and the system accepts it then you should be good. When they did an update in 2022 I pulled into the lane and it wouldn’t work. Three cars behind me and the reverse of shame happened. Have this happen once and it takes a long time to trust this app again. I would recommend install and setup on a good Wi-Fi connection and it should be ok.
