Seismicity - N.O.A.

The SEISCMICITY – Ν.Ο.Α. application is the official application of the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, with the aim of providing to the citizens timely and reliable information about seismic events in Greece. It is thus a direct point of contact for the general public, the traditional and digital press and the scientific community around the seismic phenomena in the country. Thanks to the participatory action of its users, the application displays an overall picture of the magnitude and impact of the earthquake.
Main features:
- Real time information on seismic events, with the reliability of the National Observatory of Athens.
- Ability to display seismic events on the map and observe their geographical location.
- Personalized event view (earthquake magnitude, date, distance from user location)
- Ability to share seismic events via e-mail, social networks, etc.
- "I felt an earthquake" functionality where users submit their experiences and can also view the area where an earthquake was felt, according to user entries.
- User Interface in light and dark color palette (theme).
