Long Distance Message App

Can’t even log in

But got the UI privacy policy update, glad that was in the roadmap. Using a new or existing UG login, I’m completely unable to get past the sign in screen, let alone use this app that was purchased for use with a Great Aunt and her nephews.

Avoid. Pretty useless.

Not a fun experience. Avoid this product. Messages sometimes show up backwards in preview mode and hyphenates in weird places breaking up the message so it’s unnatural to read. The message also doesn’t always fit the screen. Sometimes it’s too big. Also has a very limited number of graphic options. Seems even harder than just sending a text to someone, especially since you have to type in their email address each time you want to send a message. There is no option to select a name. And worst yet, after signing up I closed the app. When I try to reopen it, it says I need to sign up again. When I re-enter my info it says my email is already being used. This whole thing feels like a scam or inadequately tested product. I downloaded this app to go with the Long Distance Message Mug and Coaster. This really has nothing to do with the mug and coaster. It’s just another messaging app via your camera. And that feels like it leaves me vulnerable to personal privacy issues like the app using AI to recognize and storing info about my physical environment as well as allowing it to collect all sorts of other info when in use. I’ll be removing this app immediately and now have a very expensive and mundane mug and coaster set.
