Tired of looking for words in letter grids? Or playing crosswords and trying to figure out where a word goes? Want a new word hunting game to see how your vocabulary stacks up?
Look no more!
WordSnipe is a word puzzle game for all difficulty levels. You can hunt for words ranging from 3 letters to 7 letters. And none of our words are difficult (or appearing only in a dictionary) words like facinorous, napiform, dasypygal, or even ablutophobia :] Nope, we've personally selected different words for each type of puzzle that are commonly known. But yes, there might be a few curve-balls in there but none of the words should be too hard.
So go on, give WordSnipe a shot and see if you can guess what that hidden word is!
The game includes the following features:
* A No Limits gameplay mode where you can play as much as you want, make as many guesses as it takes to find the word, and be able to pick words from 3 characters to 7 characters in length — basically, play to your heart's content.
* A Word-a-day mode where everybody gets the same word for 24 hours. You can play against your friends and see who guesses the words the fastest or in the least number of guesses. (Currently only 3 character to 5 character words ... but more coming.)
* A game timer (optional) that can be turned on via the settings for the added fillip of playing under pressure.
* The ability to choose between dark vs. light modes for the best screen display to suit your needs.
* Support for color blink folk and visually impaired people so that they too can enjoy the game to the fullest.
* Sharing your game wins with others so that you can brag/challenge them. (In the case of the daily word games, since the word is the same for everyone, the screenshots will not show the word or your guesses - just the colour tiles representing your guesses.)
* Detailed statistics showing how many times you've played, how many times you've won, the fastest time you've won etc.
* If you don't like the in-app ads, you can make a one time purchase to remove all ads.
* You don't have to worry about getting unknown/obscure words (well, most of time time :p) - our word lists are personally curated.
