StaffWizard has created an app specifically to be used on Post phones. Partnered with a phone lockdown service the Post Phone App ensures that the phone will be used for non-work activities.
Check-in and out
In addition to being able to use the StaffWizard app security officers have the option to check into their post through the post phone.
Post instructions
Each post is unique and has problems that are not applicable to other locations. After a security officer checks in through the post phone app, they are shown shift specific instructions. There is also an option to add to these instructions through the post phone app.
Auto generated Shift change reports
After the security guard checks in and reads the post instructions, they fill out forms for their replacement if they replaced someone, and if any items were assigned to them for the shift. This report is automatically sent to StaffWizard's main program.
NFC and GPS checkpoints
StaffWizard offers armored post phones that have NFC scanning capabilities. NFC stands for Near Field Communication and in a nutshell, means your phone can send a message to a piece of hardware embedded in plastic. The message has an employee ID, timestamp, and location name attached to it which is viewable through the StaffWizard program. This is useful for ensuring guards are making their rounds in a timely manner.
Through StaffWizard's main program GPS checkpoints can be set up for individual clients' sites to be used for check-in purposes on the post phone.
Reports
All post related reports will be done through the post phone. A security guard will choose from a list of options like incident reports, daily reports, and more. Once submitted they will be viewable from StaffWizard's Main program.
