LaparascopiX is an app that helps you independently prepare for real laparoscopic surgery in a fun and engaging way. It teaches you critical anatomy, equipment usage, and surgical procedures. Additionally, it guides you through the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS) training curriculum to help you build your practical skills. The American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) recommend that all surgeons practicing laparoscopic surgery should be certified through the FLS program. The program is the only validated and objective measure of a surgeon’s fundamental skills and knowledge of laparoscopic surgery.
