About MNDYRR

Mentoring Nurturement for Dynamic Youth Resilience and Restoration (MNDYRR, pronounced “mender”) application helps child welfare and education professionals better understand and connect with traumatized youth, so they can deliver better life and learning outcomes.

This app community is an ideal online gathering space for mentors, therapists, counselors, educators, education leaders, parents, foster parents, social workers, and child advocates with the aim of fostering successful results for at-promise youth. By ensuring they have real-time access to resources, guidance, and help throughout their formative years, we can create an ideal supportive online community and better future for our youth.

For students, MNDYRR is a community-based app that supports your needs. Think of it as an Uber for mental well-being! Help is only a text away, and they get to choose the type of help needed whether it’s a true emergency or just need advice about a situation. Solutions range from research-informed game therapy to linking the student to tutoring services to ensure youth have equitable access to much-needed resources.

This community is an online safe haven for students. Once a student joins the MNDYRR community, they will be able to access the support system they need in real-time. As a result, they will be able to better cope with life’s challenges and develop self-esteem while knowing that their situation will get better as their condition improves. The variety of therapies specific to their needs will be linked for sessions, but flexible enough to change and experiment based on professional recommendations and evidence-based programs.
