Wish I had this a few years ago
Pretty good solution- they have hardware that sees under the snow on my roof- this sends to a computer that then activates their smart switches on or off. Seems to be saving a few hundred in the winter- and at least I can actually see if my existing heat tape is working. Like that they didn’t need to rip out my existing heat tape- this bolts on.
