What kind of phone app requires you to first download a desktop app??? It says I need to scan a QR code from the desktop app but there’s no QR code to scan. I’m able to use to website.

Telus CHR
I have been trying for hours to get to the clinic site to make an appointment. Yesterday I went in to the clinic to get help. It still doesn’t work the receptionist was not able to help me. I have followed the steps I just don’t get the QR code to scan. Where is the QR Code that I should scan? Same day appointments are only made online, otherwise the clinic is book up. Is there a flaw with the setup as I am not the only one that can not access the clinic site? Waiting for a response. Help!! Thank you
